The F-150 Lightning's internal motivation comes from a dual-motor, four-wheel-driving electric powertrain with two battery options. "Standard Range" (98 kWh) models produce 452 horsepower/775 pound-feet of torque and achieve an EPA-estimated 240 miles of range.1 "Extended Range" (131 kWh) models increase horsepower to 580 (torque remains the same) and EPA-estimated range to 300 (Platinum) or 320 miles (Flash, Lariat).1 When properly equipped, the F-150 Lightning can tow up to 10,000 pounds.

The F-150 Lightning can achieve a Level 2 (240-volt) charging rate of 19.2-kW, replenishing a Standard Range battery in ~10 hours. Extended Range models have a dual onboard charging system for even faster refills (~8 hours). For longer trips, the F-150 Lightning is compatible with 155-kW DC fast-charging stations, going from 15 to 80% in under 45 minutes.

AND VERSATILITY

The Ford F-150 Lightning is a full-size Crew Cab pickup with four doors and a 5.5-foot cargo bed. The roomy interior boasts attractive and modern design details, quality materials, and comfortable seating for up to five passengers. The Mega Power Frunk is sealed and drainable, providing 14.1 cubic feet of protected storage and a 400-pound payload capacity. It also has multiple 120-volt household-style outlets capable of 2.4 kW of exportable power. Stepping up one level to the XLT trim gets you even more interior storage via a rear underseat compartment.

Beyond providing propulsion, the F-150 Lightning's battery can also power and charge external items. It can even operate your household if the grid goes down. With Ford Intelligent Backup Power and the Ford Charge Station Pro, a fully charged Extend Range battery can supply 9.6 kW of peak energy and power your home for three days (at ~30 kWh per day) or more if power is rationed.

F-150 Lightning Pro and XLT models include dual 12-inch displays - a customizable digital instrument panel and an infotainment touchscreen with integrated navigation and the latest SYNC® 4 system. Higher trim levels upgrade to a larger 15.5-inch SYNC® 4A infotainment display with more configurability and Enhanced Voice Recognition.
